Harley

We found Harley while searching online for a friend for our older pug, Yoda. While searching for pug rescue organizations operating in Missouri, we found SEPRA's website and began looking for the right pug for our family. We were interested in a younger, energetic pug who would have fun playing with Yoda and our infant son. One look at Harley's very handsome face and perky demeanor in the picture on SEPRA's website, and my husband and I were convinced that Harley should come join our family! We contacted SEPRA, and were pleased when (after the right amount of due diligence) they decided that Harley was the right pug for us.

Harley has been a joy in our lives; he has a lot of spunk and personality for being such a little guy. He has fit right into our family, which includes a 2-year-old, our older pug Yoda, and a tabby cat named Rosie. He is very patient with our son, and has fun playing with Yoda and Rosie. Yoda has even lost a few pounds, in his attempts to keep up with Harley's energetic play. We live on a large lot, and in nice weather Yoda and Harley chase each other around the yard, wrestling and tussling. Harley is also very affectionate, and loves to be rubbed behind the ears. Not only is he good with our family, but he's also very willing to give and receive affection with our dog-loving friends and family, and I trust him with all children who come to the house.

Thank you, SEPRA, for all you do to make sure pugs and the people who love them can be joined up to enhance the lives of each other! I can say that our family would not be nearly as fun (or lively!) without our "spark-plug" of a pug, Harley.
