Say Doll, I saw you eye'n me there from across the cantina. Heard you were lookin' to adopt a dog - a special dog. You're lookin' for a friend you can take for long walks, play tug of rope, and still curl up with to a warm fireplace and a cold martini. You're the kinda human that doesn't place too much stock in those fancy showdogs. That's good cuz I don't apologize for who I am. I snore, I shed, and I'm three drinks behind being fully house trained. And I always cry at weddings, especially my own. Still looking for that one true love of a family, maybe a stroll in the rain. But I've been around for a long time, 5 years now. Have learned a thing or 2 along the way. Lovin' from a good woman, companionship of a friend or two, likin' the good life. Maybe the people like me. Better to eat hot dogs at the game than steak at the Ritz, I say. If that's you too - well, this could be the start of a beautiful friendship. And if not, if you don't see what you're lookin' for here - at least adopt one of the other dogs or you'll miss out big time and regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.
