Hope

I was used as a breeder in an awful place for nine years, but now that SEPRA has rescued me I have hope for a better life.

I’m a petite girl at 14 lb. and healthy. Right now, I’m living the life of royalty at my foster home, but I would really like to have a forever home. I’m a little timid because I’ve never experienced human kindness, but I’m beginning to realize that my foster humans won’t hurt me. Now that I’m happier, my tail curls up a lot more and I’m even learning to give an occasional kiss to my foster mom. I sleep in my crate all night without a peep and I don’t make any noise until my family awakens, but I would be just as happy to sleep in my human bed.

Even though I’m 9, you would never know it because I’m healthy and energetic. I have an agreeable disposition (I’m not alpha) and I have never growled at any human or animal. I would prefer to be with a forever family who won’t need to leave me all day. I really do need to be with a family who will be around to give me lots of affection, so I can continue to build my trust with humans. I’m doing well with the potty training thing even though it’s new to me. I just need to be watched, because sometimes I might need to be reminded to go outside. If you want a devoted companion, write “Hope” on your application.

P.S. I like belly rubs!
