Monty

Well Hello Pug Lovers,

My name is Monty and I am a 10 year old fawn male. Here is a little about my background. I lived in a puppymill all my life, till the wonderful people of SEPRA saved me. I now live in a home with my 4 other foster brothers and my foster mom. When I came to my foster home, I was in pretty good shape except for the fact that I needed to be neutered and have a dental done. So here I am neutered and not having many teeth left...but besides that I am pretty darn healthy.

When you meet me for the first time, I am a little shy...don’t worry I warm up after a little time. My foster brothers love the furniture, but I love a good comfy dog bed. My foster mom, says that I am a very good boy...her only complaint is that I will not go down the stairs. What she really does not realize, is that I LOVE it when she picks me up and carries me around...it makes me feel loved. Going up the stairs is no issue to me. I race my foster brothers up the stairs for our treats. With that being said, the only way outside when my foster mom is at work, is down the stairs...so I get to wear a belly band (boy diaper, but I prefer to call it a “cuter” name than diaper). When my foster mom gets home from work, my belly band is almost always dry. When my belly band is wet, she lets me know that it is ok...we all have accidents every now and then.

If any of you know anything about puppy mills, then you know that we are ALWAYS in a cage. Well here at my foster home, I get free roam of the house. So with that said, I would prefer to go to a forever home where I do not need to be in a cage and I would prefer to go where there is no stairs to go down.

Like I have said above, I do not have many teeth left. I will say though, that even with the lack of teeth I am a very good eater. My foster mom mixes the Beneful meals with hard food and I just go to town. I walk well on leash, I get along with all dogs, I love kids, and I love adults. So all in all I am GREAT dog.

My favorite things to do are curl up on my dog bed and watch TV with my foster family. I like going for car rides, and walks...I LOVE to be outside (my foster mom thinks that is because I lived most my life in a cage). Oh and I almost forgot, I LOVE to sit on my foster moms lap while she plays on the computer...just like I am doing as we are typing (I figure I would give you all my personal touch).

I am looking for my forever home. I want someone who will LOVE me like I deserve to be loved. I don’t think I am asking for much here people...just some love and a place to call my forever home. My foster mom asked what I wanted for Christmas, and I said “besides my two front teeth...a FOREVER home would be nice.” If you like what I have to say and are interested in getting to know me...APPLY for me I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

Happy Pug Loving Holidays People,
Monty
