Sissy

I am almost 3 years old and came from a home that had too many pets. I am of average stature with a lean, athletic build and lots of energy to go with it. I am heartworm negative and have no current health issues.

I would do best in a home as an only dog, because my mom says I like to be the alpha dog and will challenge other alpha dogs in the home. According to my former mom, I get along with children, although, there are none in my foster home. I would do best in an active family, who has time to walk me regularly.

Even though I’m energetic, I cuddle very well, too, and love afternoon naps on the couch with my foster mom. I like to chew moozles and bully sticks and I would love to have someone to run and play with me in the yard. I sleep for a full 8 hr. in a crate at night and don’t make any noises until my folks get up. I also stay in my crate when they leave and don’t mind at all.

I had a small marble-sized mast cell tumor removed from my leg. The doctor said he got it all and it unlikely to metastasize. He also said I could get another one on my skin, but I may never get another one. I don’t even fuss at the doctor when he pokes at me. My only issue is that I don’t like to share my owner’s love with any other dog and don’t mind telling them. If you think I’m the girl for you, ask for Sissy on the application!
